  I don't usually review doctors, but I wanted to provide some balance to the reviews that are already here, as my experience doesn't correspond in any way. I have been seeing Dr. Nutakki for a year or so for medication management. I'm a licensed professional counselor, so I have quite a bit of experience w/ psychiatrists and she's one of the better ones I know. She is kind, friendly, easy to talk to, and extremely practical. When she makes suggestions for medications or treatments I'm not comfortable with, I just tell her so and she always respects my feelings and comes up with other ideas. She addresses not just the medical/pharmacological aspects of my life, but understands how important fitness, a good social life, and career are as well and inquires about them regularly. I have never felt talked down to, condescended to, or dismissed in any way. I trust her deeply and I think she's excellent at what she does. I have recommended her to friends and family and their reviews of her performance have always been stellar as well.

  I am writing this review as the parent of a child who is a patient of Dr. Nutakki. I have been extremely impressed with her caring, professional demeanor. Dr. Nutakki is patient and has always made me and my child feel comfortable and at ease during each visit. I can highly recommend her as one of the best pediatric psychiatrists in Genesee county.
